The HANDS Team Training Satisfaction Survey is administered following each training session, both school visits and virtual calls, to systematically capture staff perceptions of training quality, relevance, and effectiveness. At Jefferson Elementary, survey results from January through March 2025 indicate consistently positive experiences across key areas of the HANDS Learning Curriculum.
Of the 18 questions rated on a 5-point scale, the highest score was achieved on Q7 (Knowledge of staff), with an impressive 5.0 average, highlighting staff appreciation for trainers’ expertise. Strong scores were also observed in Q13 to Q15 (Modeling and practice opportunities), each averaging 4.8, reflecting the value placed on hands-on demonstration and immediate application.
Most other items maintained solid ratings in the 4.4 to 4.6 range, underscoring that staff found the training informative, engaging, and applicable to their work. The one area with room for continued enhancement, Q11 (Instructional handout), scored 4.2, signaling an opportunity to further improve supplementary materials for optimal staff use.
These satisfaction trends affirm Jefferson’s commitment to leveraging effective training to build capacity and confidence among educators. Feedback from these surveys enables the HANDS team to celebrate successes while making data driven adjustments to content, delivery, and support strategies, ensuring each training session is as impactful as possible for staff and ultimately for students.
