What is an LCC Champion?
Regional LCC Champions are community leaders who:
- Promote awareness and acceptance of autism and neurodiversity.
- Facilitate collaboration among families, professionals, individuals and organizations.
- Share resources and strategies that support inclusive practices specific to their geographic location.
- Amplify lived experiences to inform local and regional efforts.
- Build sustainable networks that empower individuals and communities.
By being a champion, joining or re-establishing anhdfc b LCC, you can shape local ASD initiatives, bridge gaps between families and services, and amplify community voices at the state level.
If you would like to champion or support an LCC in your region here are a few ways to do so:
- Begin by completing this registration form or scanning the QR code to indicate your interest.
- Sign up for our monthly Newsletters to stay informed on all the activities going on within the LCC.
- Join our monthly Let’s Talk LCC Series every 2nd Thursday of the month at 12 noon.
- Keep us informed about potential community participation opportunities (e.g., live meetings, online collaboration, dissemination, community activities) to help build effective supports for individuals with ASD and related disabilities that are relevant to each region.
