The HANDS Team Training Satisfaction Survey, conducted following both in-person visits and virtual calls, systematically captures staff perceptions of training quality and effectiveness. At WCHS, survey data collected from December 2024 through March 2025 reflect consistent appreciation for the HANDS Learning Curriculum and its delivery.
The strongest ratings were observed in Q7 (Knowledge of staff) and Q18 (Feedback helped me learn the skill better), both averaging 4.5, underscoring the trainers’ expertise and the value of direct, actionable feedback. Similarly, questions focused on clarity of presentation, supportive feedback, and relevance to classroom practice such as Q3, Q4, Q8, Q9, Q15, Q16, Q17, and Q20 scored between 4.3 and 4.4, reinforcing participants’ satisfaction with the training’s structure and supportiveness.
Overall consistency was maintained with most other questions receiving scores between 4.0 and 4.3, signaling a broadly positive training experience. Opportunities for further improvement were identified in Q13 (Observing trainers modeling the skill) at 3.6, and Q14 (Use of modeling for demonstration) at 3.8, suggesting staff would benefit from more robust and detailed modeling activities.
These trends affirm WCHS’s commitment to professional growth and the HANDS team’s dedication to refining training content. By celebrating strengths and addressing targeted feedback, future sessions can continue to enhance staff skills and ultimately improve student outcomes.
